Located in South Epi Island, Vanuatu. The system will provide 24/7 power for the Area Council for the provision of lighting, computers and VSAT communications. It has been designed to meet the assessed Area Council daily power consumption requirements of 5.9kWh per day. The council previously relied on intermittent generator usage, with set times for the provision of power. This new National Green Energy Fund (NGEF) approved system not only reduces the operational and logistics expenses associated with fuel access in the remote islands, this green power system is also a welcome investment for a cleaner future for the next generation.
This is a 100% offgrid solar battery system that was installed for the Area Council at Epi Island uses Antaisolar Aluminium Roof Mounting rails and Suntree AC and DC protection devices for safe system operation.
