Akama Centre School

Located in North Epi Island, Vanuatu.  The system will provide 24/7 power for the Akama Centre School providing all power needs for the school across 6 different buildings.  provision of lighting, computers and VSAT communications. Designed to provide 8700Wh of daily power with 3 days battery autonomy, this new National Green Energy Fund (NGEF) approved system will provide a greater improved study environment for all the students and teachers, helping to enhance the performance in the classroom. This new green system whilst also helping to produce potential future leaders, is also a great step to cleaner future for the next generation.

This is a 100% offgrid solar battery system that was installed for the Akama Centre School on Epi Island and in additional to the Trina Solar panels, Victron EasySolar and Ritar OPzV Batteries, uses Antaisolar Aluminium Roof Mounting rails and Suntree AC and DC protection devices for safe system operation, with AC Cabling provided by our Melanesian Colleagues Electomech (Fiji).
